Postcrossing MY-55036 To Netherlands



Postcard Delight presents this postcard of Putra Mosque at Putrajaya Lake, on the left, together with the Prime Minister's Office at Perdana Putra, on the right. Putrajaya, the new federal administrative city, was named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, with the "jaya" as part of the city's name means "victory" in Sanskrit.

Postcrossing MY-55028 To Finland



Postcard Delight presents this postcard of Perdana Putra, the Prime Minister's Department Complex, in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Putrajaya (Jawi: ڤوتراجاي) is the third and latest Federal Territory after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan. It resumes the federal administrative function from Kuala Lumpur since 2001.

"The six-storey Prime Minister's Office Complex in Putrajaya is made up of three wings; the main dome of glazed mosaic is surrounded by four small domes, signifying Malay and Islamic elements."

Postcrossing MY-53851 To U.S.A.



Postcard Delight presents this postcard of Petronas Twin Towers in daylight. As quoted at the back of this postcard, it was designed by Cesar Pelli, a famous Argentine architect, together with Djay Cerico. Petronas Twin Towers were constructed from 1992 to 1998 for a total of 88 floors, and became the tallest buildings in the world for six years until Taipei 101 completed in 2004.
